Scarce semi-automatic variant of the Thompson submachine gun, sometimes referred to as the 'Chicago Typewriter', chambered in .45 ACP. Features a blue finish, 16.5" finned barrel with Cutts style compensator, blade front sight, flip-up ladder rear sight graduated to 600 yards, smooth trigger, knurled cylindrical charging handle on top of receiver, manual safety on the left side of the frame, Auto Ordnance L50 50 rd drum magazine, walnut vertical foregrip with finger grooves, pistol grip and detachable shoulder stock with sling swivel & smooth metal buttplate. Has all of the original markings of a 1927 A1. Bore is excellent/bright. Metal surfaces are excellent with minor signs of use & handling. Wood is very good, some finish loss to the butt. Comes with a Padded 'guitar' case, one 30-rd stick magazine and manual.
